Kids Yoga & Mindfulness – Term 1 Program

MIC | Tuesdays at 3:15pm | 45 mins | 8-Week Program

We’re excited to offer Kids Yoga & Mindfulness at MIC this Term 1 — a nurturing space where children from Prep to Year 6 can unwind, move their bodies, and build essential emotional skills after a busy school day.

Starting Week 2, this fun and engaging 8-week program supports children’s emotional regulation, confidence, focus, and overall wellbeing — all through play-based, age-appropriate yoga and mindfulness.

What your child will experience each week:

✨ Fun, playful yoga poses to build strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness

✨ Mindfulness games & breathing tools to help manage stress, anxiety, and big emotions

✨ Relaxation time to support calmness, concentration, and better transitions after school

✨ Creative movement, storytelling & imagination to encourage self-expression and joy

This program is ideal for children who:

Need help winding down after school
Want to build confidence and resilience
Are learning how to manage emotions and focus
Benefit from movement, creativity, and mindfulness in a supportive environment
